bullwinkle kills bambi and mom
« on: November 28, 2005, 08:34:01 AM »
USHD struck today , my dad (nicknamed bull short for bullwinkle) and i went out for ohio's opening day of shotgun season. well i've already got one deer this year so dad got the good spot . well by 9:00 there he came driving out out of the woods in his jeep with two deer in the back! (first time in a while he really out did me) the slugs really did there jobs , dad said he shot the first one (the button buck on the left) at about 40 yards and it dropped from a hit in the shoulder. the second one he got about 70 yards and it ran about 35-40 yards with a hit just behind the shoulder. should be great eating.

all in all a great father and son outing

nice looking gun too (his BTW) bullets look good too, and it will shot at or right under MOA. i've still not found a slug after a hit . that makes three shots in two years and three dead deer .

curiosity killed the cat , but i was lead suspect for a while

Mitchell, don't change your handle! Still Like to pick at you :-D  :-D
Just think If you play your cards right and get the right young lady,
Have a son, the three of you can hunt together, Grandpa teach Your son
to shoot. Best of Luck Marv.

PS. Glad you are still hunting with your elders, Maybe your Dad can teach
you hunt, Digger and I didn't do to good. Good Luck Bring your Dad
to the P. dog shoot in June. Marv.
