I've read some of this stuff about manufacturers using ultra-light pellets for velocity testing of their spring piston rifles.  They claim the 99M gets 900 fps with a .22 pellet.  What kind of velocity can I expect in reality from this rifle using a real pellet for hunting/pest control?

Charlie is the owner of Charlie's Springer Works, http://charliedatuna.com/.  He specializes in tuning springer air rifles.  Chinese made, certain RWS models and others.  The man does wonders with air rifles getting the most out of them and extending their life.  After Charlie gets done with a rifle it cocks easier, has more velocity and is much smoother in total operation.  Thus this extends the life of the rifle and makes it much more enjoyable to shoot.  I highly recommend him to any that have need of a air gun smith.  To date he has done six of his tune-ups on rifles for me.  Well worth the money.  Lawdog
