Which composite fore end works with a heavy tapered barrel. The one I have measures aprx. .855 from the taper of the chamber to the end of the barrel.

If it is an Encore the composite forearm fits both sporter and heavy factory barrels.

The barrel is Fox ridge and is slightly larger than the standard heavy barrel. It is close but even a slightly larger than the Katadins, I believe. Do the shotgun forends mount differently?

sgtt; The TC custom shop barrel I have takes the katadin forend. Measures the same as your posted measures. Or give Fox Ridge a call to confirm. Good luck. Dean
