Millet Buck DSilver Scopes ?
« on: November 29, 2005, 10:20:41 AM »
I was thinking of replacing a weaver 4x i have on my savage 99 with a new weaver k4 and putting the older weaver on a 30/30 handi rifle , but then saw a millet buck silver 4x32 that was selling for $59.00 at midsouth shooters supply and i see they have lifetime guarantees are these good enough scopes to try out or should i stick with the weaver.

I have a Millett Buck Silver on my 1895 45/70 and so far so good.
I got mine at cheaperthandirt.com for 54+shipping.
Haven't shot anything stout in the rifle since I installed the scope unless
you consider the +p PMC Silverline stout.
One thing I had to do was shim the base about .010 but
it's held up just fine.
