Got the Truck back at 1:00 ( The GRRRRR Post) was in Gordon by 2:45 was gutting a doe by 3:00. That Swede Scout rifle worked pretty good. WIll still T zone hunt this week got two more tags I can fill for does in the T zone. Used my Buck or Doe tag to fill this one since it was not in a T zone.

I had a nice day sittin in the woods, I guess. It would've been better if I at least saw a deer. My Dad shot a 7 pointer, though so it was a good start. good luck everybody, and lets make this a safe season  .

Shot a doe and a one horned buck opening day. Seen a deer or 3 every day but those T zone does are getting spooky. Do you still have snow up nort?

Live and hunt 25 minutes west of Green Bay on 27 acres all wooded. My son shot a nice 7 point that dressed at 186# on opening day. We now have two bucks and a doe. We are shotgun only here and cannot say enough about those Remington Premier Cor-Lokt Ultra High Velocity saboted slugs. The Winchester Supreme Partiton Gold have worked well also.
We have seen deer everyday. It appears that the T zone and Earn a Buck that we have been under has reduced the deer herd. Used to see many deer pass thru at a time now it appears that two to three are the norm when we spot them.
