I put a T/C .32 Claiber Cherokee in layway yesterday. The gun looks to be in excellent condition, perhaps never even fired. I have been perusing prices for this gun on the net and it looks like I got a pretty good deal.
What kind of accuracy can I expect? I bought it for plinking and small game. The rifle points very well and it's balance feels excellent.
After putting money on the gun I ran to another shop and bought two packs of .315 round balls, 3F Goex, .32 cal short starter, and some .015 patches.
In the T/C black powder book I picked up, it lists a .32 caliber maxi ball in the load charts. I am having trouble finding a souce on the net. The closest thing I have found are .32 Buffalo Ballets. Any Ideas?
I know, it's not the .50 Caliber flinter I have been looking for, but I fell in love with it the moment I shouldered it.
The .50 flinter may have to wait, as they have a Navy Arms .58 caliber Zoave that I may put on layaway the day I pick this gun up! The wife will be mad-oh well!
Thanks,
Scott.
