This is the only one I have.  With the extra barrel (4") it's a pretty versatile handgun (hunting/home protection) :D .....Van

Model 15 , blue frame, 8" 357 barrel. Bought used for $350, has a excellent double action trigger, don't know if it has been reworked or is orginal. Smooth and very light, great pistol. Adjustable sights...........

Purchased by my wife for me as a birthday present in 1992 .445 supermag 8"bbl I added the 10"bbl and 2x6 burris scope in 1994, low serial number it likes 265gr hornady rifle bullet with 32.3 gr of 296 (use listed load at your own risk) I have loaded up to 35grs but the brass sticks real bad. The 32.3 load shoots 6-9 inch groups freehand at 150 yards. The scope I was told would never handle the abuse but it works perfect.

I love my Dan Wessons in .357, Wouldn't mind a .44 Mag.   I have not shot the 15" Barrel yet.   Can Anyone tell me the difference why one has a screw for trigger stop, and the other dosen't?  The manuals show it, but there is not even the hole where it should be?

Thanks,
Darrell Brooks

Poncaguy,
I pick up mounts off the auction sites for very reasonable prices.  Just start to monitor the auction sites and search for "dan wesson" and you will find some for sale sooner than later.

As far as the Dan Wessons I have, I only have 5
2- 445's
2- 357's
1- 44
Of course I have multiple barrels, grips and scope mounts for each.

Here are a few pics from a similar post a few months back

First a little salt and pepper.
My blue 44 mag and my stainless 445 supermag.

Next a little closer look at the 4" 445 supermag

Next my 445 supermag with the 4" compensated barrel

Finally, my 6" 445 Supermag in the case with my scoped 8" barrel
