What is the max cup pressure recommodation for the factory 15 inch encore barrel in 45/70? I have read in SAAMI that 28,000 cup is max but this is generic for all actions.

The Encore can easily handle the 40-42k cup range with a .45-70 size case.  Consider this, the .450 Marlin is offered as a chambering in Encore barrels, and its factory loaded to around the 40k pressure range.

375 H&H is SAMMI rated to 62,000 psi and TC chambers Encore barrels for it. I believe you will run out wrist before you run out of gun. Enjoy

does the .375 h&h have the same haed size? If it is smaller do not advise that the 45/70 is good to 60,000 psi. not accussing here, becasse i don't know the 375 h&h. but would think the head is smaller.
always be safe and pass it on to a young hunter

No issues with the 460 sw yet. It is pushing 65,000. Head size is very close.
