I'm wondering if anyone here has any kind of info on these rifles. I just bought a stock from Gun Parts and it is different than my old one. The action fits fine, but there is a slot milled in the bottom of the fore end that I have no idea what it is made for. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to GBO. Do an internet search for 265 Targeteer on Google, you'll get some info on it, when it was made and such.
