That should be fine after a good cleaning and especially so after a time or 2 at the range and shooting a fews rounds through it. It would not worry me in the least, as a matter of fact knowing how "dirty" these guns come from the factory, loaded with oil, grease, the occasional metal debris and shavings and "crud" in general I would probably choose that gun over one that closed easily when new at the store. If there is a continuing problem H&R will fix it for free and give you a free trigger job to boot if you ask for it, go for it!!!....<><.... :grin:
