On the road!

Just to let you guys know, I am leaving Saturday for back east and eventually Flordia.  My dad is ill so I won't be able to post or check up on things for a bit.  Keep the good posts going and I will return when I can, might be gone a month if need be.

Dave- I just lost my mother and you have my prayers . I enjoy reading your post and have been to AK about 8 times and worked as a charter Capt. for a season in Sitka. Good luck

Thanks guys!  I was just checking the site and somehow was not getting notices that you all posted.  Thanks for the kind words and hopefully I can get over to Anchorage and out of here with this weather.  No mail here in five days, 75 mph winds  :bye: at the airport here along the mountain.  For some reason the pilots don't like flying parallel to the mountain with a 75 mph crosswind! I will  :jeep:  over on Saturday I guess.

Thanks again! :D

If ya need some food in your belly before your flight, give me a call (753-0411).  Lunch is on me.  I don't have any pressing plans for Saturday beyond cleaning up from the winds storms.  Plenty of SCI mags and hunting books if you need a couple for the flight.

Matt:  Depending on when I get out of Valdez and the weather I may try to call you when I get to Palmer/Wasilla or that area.  :toast:

All depends on timing!  That Alaskan thing that you never know about for sure.  Still windy here, calmed down to 50-60 mph, well is froozen, drain frooze.  But  I have a great five gallon pail and a river behind the house for water.  What else do I need! :)

How about a topic on Honey Bucket techniques? :wet:
