I was shooting my Hummer today and noticed 5 of the brass cases had a little split through the shoulder down to the neck, some at least 1/4" long. Has anyone else ever had this happen. I have had the Sportster for about 3 years but this is the first time I have ever seen this. I have shot other rounds out of this same box and lot without a problem before? That particular ammo is about 2 years old as I bought several boxes of every brand available.
I know the chamber seems a little large, but this is a strange one. Must be a little wide in the shoulder area. Anybody else have this happen? Thanks.
