:D  Just thought I would pass along some good words for Mueller, American Pioneer and Knight.
I bought a new Knight Disc Elite .50 S/S a few weeks ago to replace my aging American Knight .50. What a difference, this rifle is very nice. I took the Mueller 2-7 Multi Shot that I bought from the Optic Zone off of my shotgun that I never got a chance to fire and put it on the Knight. I took the muzzle loader to the range Sunday to sight it in and it shot BEAUTIFULLY.
First I must comment on the scope, it is defiantly my favorite scope. It was very bright, crystal clear and the dot  just seemed to glue itself to the bullseye. I was shooting 5 different scoped rifles and the Mueller looked the brightest  :eek: and clearest of them all :shock: , a Weaver Grand Slam a Burris Fullfield II a Springfield and a Simmons.  
I tried the American Pioneer powder and I really like this stuff too. I bought a pound of 3fg loose and a pound of the 50 grain sticks. I took with me a box of 250 grain Barnes Expanders a box of 300 grain Hornady SST's and a box of 240 grain XTP's. I started with the XTP's and 95 grains of loose 3fg it took 2 shots to get a bull at 25 yards. I swabbed the barrel and got nothing on the patch at all. Took 4 shots at 100 yards with the XTP's bingo, about 1 1/2" group an inch low. Then I tried the SST's at 100 yards with the same 95 grains of loose 3fg about 1 3/4" 4 shot group an inch left, swabbed barrel and nothing. Then came 4 of the 300 grain Barnes at 100 with the 95 grains of powder and a sweet little 1" clover leaf an inch low, swabbed barrel and got a few specs of dirt. After 14 shots the barrel was hardly dirty at all, all bullets went down with minimal force and no rotten egg smell.
Then I tried what I wanted to be my hunting load, the 300 grain Barnes with two of the sticks and this shot just as good and to very near the same point of impact. I am VERY happy :grin:  and confident with this rifle and scope combination. Look out deer, I never had a muzzle loader that shot like this.

Congrats. Marylandeer.  You'll be real happy with that rifle.  I've been shooting a Disc Elite for a couple years now and it continues to impress me.  Mine is topped with a B&L Elite 3200.

I also shoot the Barnes Expander 300 gr bullets.  Devestating performance.  Surprisingly the Barnes Spitfires didn't group as well as the Expanders.  I've also shot SSTs, Buffallo Bullets, and Power Belts (all over 100gr loose T7).  My rifle likes the Expanders the best.  The 300 gr shoot about 1.5 inch lower than the 300gr.  If I do my part, sub MOA at 100 yrds off a bench is common - and I'm not very good.... :D

:D Thanks, our Early muzzle loader season opens up next Thursday the 20th and I am looking forward to it big time. I hunted with many different smokepoles but I have never had this much confidence in any of the others. I wanted to get a box of the 300 grain Expanders but everybody I checked with was all out. Oh well the 250's are FINE wit me, I'm sure they will do the job on a deer if I do my part. Thanks again and good luck to ya. :wink:

UPDATE
 :D I bagged a doe Friday with the Disc Elite wasn't very big (75# I guess) but she'll fill the freezer for a while and be good eating. I was going to let her walk but it was public land and nobody was seeing anything so I took her. Turns out I'm glad I did because I was the only one in camp that even seen a deer. It was pouring down rain and just before dusk when I spotted her sneaking up the mountain. The shot was about 50yards broadside, I had the red dot turned on #4 on my Mueller multi shot and the power set on 4x. I placed the dot on the center of the shoulder but just behind the shoulder blade and lit the fire. After the smoke cleared she was at the spot of the shot DONE. Never moved an inch, the 250 grain Barnes expander behind two sticks of APP worked great. One small hole going in and one small hole going out with severe internal damage. Shot was a little high but it was exactly where I aimed.

Woops I didn't see this post before I answered your other one.
Not that bad with A.P.P. powder but they aren't easy either.
If you want Easy to load use the Havester bullets or the Powerbelt bullets.
