using scent hounds for tracking
« on: December 11, 2005, 01:53:42 PM »
Is this something that is commonly done?  I have access to quite a bit of ground for predator hunting but like in other folks posts, am restricted to rimfire use.  As such, I've withheld going out.  I'd like to be able to make sure I retrieve everything I shoot or else I'll just not pull the trigger.  So I was wondering about the use of a hound or 2 in tracking coyotes, foxes and bobcats.  Any ideas or input?
