Turkey shooting-Which choke?
« on: December 12, 2005, 07:04:35 AM »
I don't know if you guys have these around like we do here in Missouri?  Turkey shoots, where you shoot against 9 guys and paper targets?
Anyway, I want to know what choke you guys recommend for this?  I have a 870 with a factory full choke.  What is your favorite choke for a really tight pattern.  If you know the constricksion and brand that would be helpful.  Thanks in advance.

As the surge in the popularity of Turkey hunting has spurned the growth of custom extra tight "Turkey" chokes, most paper turkey shoots limit the gun to a full choke and do not allow the use of custom chokes.

Around here a shotgun that wins too much will get banned.. but there are shoots where there are no choke regulations. Some of those shotguns begin looking a little wild..
