Does anybody use hardcast wide meplat type ammo on deer? Just curious.
We must pass along/encourage hunting, shooting, the outdoors etcetera.

I have used hard cast, hollow points, soft points and all have taken deer. When I decide to use hard cast, I like the shoulder shots. The hard cast will work in the heart & lung shots, but with little or no expansion.  :D
If  you're going to make a hole, make it a big one.
