Update on my Dad
« on: December 13, 2005, 10:45:06 AM »
Pop is doing OK for now.  He had 2 stints put in this morning.  They said he will need Heart Surgery to repair a blockage in his Left artery in a couple weeks when he is stronger.  Please keep my family in your prayers.  Pretty good record for and Old Guy(84), this was his first overnight in the hospital.

Thanks Guys

Rich

Our Prayers for your Dad will continue Rich. My wife had a stent put in last year and she feels better than she has in a long time. I am sure in a day or so your father will be getting better and feeling stronger. After the next surgery he will be out and about in no time!!! Give him a big hug and tell him Merry Christmas for us all!!!!....<><....

Both my parents had stents and bypasses.  I sure hope the best for your dad and I will keep him in my prayers. Sounds like he's a pretty healthy guy and he'll do fine. The best to you and your dad.

Sorry Rich I have been away for a few days. Are you in the area or still up north? I had to make a run to Cleveland to bury mother-in -law. We are still trying to get the other affairs finialized.

Sorry to hear about the recent problems. But keep up the spirit Rich, and tell your Dad we are keeping him where it counts.

Thanks to all of you for the words of encouragement and all the prayers.  It works, you know.  Dad has 2 stents in and is coming home tomorrow, for a couple weeks, until the 29th when he has to go back for a Triple By-pass.  I am heading out tomorrow after work.  My daughter wants to see her Grandpa, so I won't have to do all the driving myself.  That, too, is an answer to prayer.

He ain't out o the woods yet, so please, keep us in your prayers and remember to give Him thanks for prayers already answered.

Daniel,  I went through all that Mother-in-law stuff, just a year ago.  I will keep you in my prayers.

Rich,

That's the route my best friend and huntin partner went, 2 stents, some time on anti-cholesterol meds, then a triple bypass, he's healed up well and chomping at the bit to get some hunting and fishing in!!

Best to your Dad and you!!

C-man'

this last Summer we buried the finest man I ever knew: my father-in-law.  the point is, sooner or later we all run the string out.   when it is time for them to have their Eternal Reward (which is God Himself, not just heaven itself) we must surrender them.   i have prayed that God will give you all the strength to let your dad go in peace to where he really belongs; and I have asked God to make salvation your father's eternal reward.

take care,
