The New American Revolution

by Jennifer Freeman

My willingness to defend myself to the death stems from my own self-esteem. I know I am worthy of being saved, and I am willing to act on that worthiness. It reminds me of my uniqueness and the power of my decision making, and the fact that I can act on what I deem to be important. -- Tammy Bruce - THE NEW AMERICAN REVOLUTION

As one of the foremost thinkers of 21st century America, Tammy Bruce has hit the ball out of the park with her latest book, THE NEW AMERICAN REVOLUTION.

Ms. Bruce was the President of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) from 1990-1996. She later removed herself from Leftist movement citing the importance of freedom of expression and personal liberty over the groupthink mentality that is required to advance the Leftist agenda. She has authored three books and currently hosts a nationally syndicated radio talk show flagshipped at 790 KABC.

In THE NEW AMERICAN REVOLUTION, Ms. Bruce devotes an entire chapter to firearm ownership in which she clearly explains the Second Amendment issue. The discussion covers all the bases including the individual right view, self-defense, terrorism, tyranny, anti-gun media complicity, incrementalism, and individual action. Ms. Bruce contends that, "Our freedoms are not just embodied in the idea of our individual rights, but in the deliberate, thoughtful, and decent exercise of those rights."

While the United States has culturally divided itself in every way imaginable including political ideology, race, religion, gender, and sexual preference, Leftist operatives within the government, media, and large corporations have strengthened their position and furthered their agenda. It is imperative for Americans to free themselves from socially imposed stereotyes if they are to recognize the true origin of America's decline. While we may disagree on many issues, we must agree that our rights are inalienable and worth preserving. And we must stand up for those rights as no one is going to do it for us. "The American citizen and patriot, in my humble opinion, is one of the best people on earth," she says.

In the chapter on firearms, Tammy Bruce provides valuable information for anyone who supports the Second Amendment and would like to have a series of concise, succinct arguments that they can use during political discussion. It is also useful for those who might not understand the issue. As someone who was entrenched in the liberal activist movement, Ms. Bruce understands the mindset of the anti-gunner and tackles the issue head-on. She conveys the facts in a palatable manner without pulling any punches. Even the individual activst -- the Second Amendment army of one -- may find some new and surprising information with which to arm herself. But, you'll have to read the book to find out what it is.

In addition to the chapter on firearm ownership, Ms. Bruce further exposes the lies and the hypocrisy of the Socialist movement -- a movement that promotes tolerance but has none when it comes to gun ownership and other issues. She covers a range of topics emphasizing the power of the individual who acts. A power that grows exponentially when Americans act together while retaining their individuality. Being an American first and everything else second is a strength we can draw upon to restore our nation's greatness.

.
They may talk of a "New Order" in the  world, but what they have in mind is only a revival of the oldest and worst tyranny.   No liberty, no religion, no hope.   It is an unholy alliance of power and pelf to dominate and to enslave the human race.
