Thought I found a reason to replace my Lee measure

My Lee measure is crude, but it wotks. I have been wanting to find an excuse to replace it. The other night it started throwing unstable charges. I did the rational thing, I whacked it. It then got hard to operate for a couple of cycles. I whacked again. Now it wouldn't deliver any powder. I tried a few things and then took off the drop tube. A .243 bullet came out. It now works fine. I guess I will have to use it for a while more. I must have pulled a bullet and poured the contents of my bullet puller into the powder container. DUMB.

MnMike,

What kind of primer do you have to use to touch off that big hunk of lead to get it to burn?   :-)

Hodgdon, Lyman, Speer, Sierra, Hornady = reliable resources
so and so's pages on the internet = not reliable resources
Alway check loads you find on the internet against manuals.
NEVER exceed maximum listed loads.

I got an e-mail from a company that thought they could help. I then noticed they were located in Chernobyl, Russia. I guess I'll pass.

back to using pure Varget,
