Experiences with Pecatonica River Long Rifle Supply ?
« on: December 15, 2005, 06:44:57 AM »
Has anyone had any experience with Pecatonica River Long Rifle Supply ?  I was looking at ordering one of their kits:

http://www.longrifles-pr.com/hawkenhalf.shtml

or

http://www.longrifles-pr.com/lemanhalf.shtml

It looks like they use good components and the prices seem reasonable.

Thanks

Jason

Jason, I agree.......they both look fine, with quality componets. I think either would make you a fine gun. Best of luck! Rick
Quality will be remembered long after price is forgotten

yes  i have , alot . dick is a great fella to work with   i have never been sorry even when i gave him a deadline that was un reasonable .
they also from what i understand make most of the stocks   you find in alot of places like TOW.
Speaking from experience , his 3 P stock is  much better then a 3P from TOW and is much cheeper .
Remember, these are builders  kits and not like a production kit , there is a lot of reducing and inletting  to be done

Thanks for the information.   It is helpful.  I know the kits are basically "component sets."  I do not mind having to do the extra work as I need a winter project.  Looks like its going to be a long winter in MT this year :)
