I have an 1873 copy that keeps having light primer strikes. It happens about once every other cylider. The rounds fire the second time through usually. Is the firing pin supposed to wiggle around in the hammer or should it be tight? I made sure all my primers are fully seated and it even happens with factory loads. When I take the cylinder out and dry fire I can see the firing pin comes out plenty far. I checked the hammer pin and it is not catching on the frame when hammer drops. Any ideas this is ruining my Christmas.
