In the past I have owned an Armi San Marcos 1847 Walker, a Euroarms 1851 Colt, and an EMF 1858 Remington.
I just bought a Cabelas 1860 Army. I went with this model as the grip is made for an adult, and it has a nice balance. I shot a friends 1860 army years ago and liked it, but until I shoot my newest addition I can't make a judgment on it.
The Walker was big and heavy, the cylinder would drag when the fowling got up there, took two hands to hold it. Accuracy was moody and with heavy loads the loading lever would fall down. I don't seen owning anther one. The 1851 Colt was nice, in .36 cal. had good balance, accurate, easy to service. Grip was a little small for me.
My 1858 Remington was mechanically good, accuracy was moody though. Spotted a minor defect in the rifling done at the factory assumed that this was the reason for the occasional flyer, but have read that these guns are not as accurate as the Colts. Grip was a little small, probably should not have sold it.
With the purchase of my new 1860 Army, thinking about getting some more, never had an 1849 Pocket, or a third model dragoon. Might get another 1851 Colt.
