barns makes a 120 gr. solid copper triple shock bullit in 7mm. I was wondering if this bullet would reliably expand at less than 7mm mag velocities, say 2400 fps? I have always questioned the expansion of this type of bullet. I was shown a recovered remington 12 ga. sabot, copper solid with a large hollow cavity, It expanded 0%, and the hollow opening was slightly smaller than before being fired into the deer, from denting somewhat shut! Anyway, I was considering this bullet in a contender waters load. very small hollow point in a 7mm bullet tho. Any experiences?
