As you can tell by my 44 mag post, I am in the market for a decent scope at an :economical" price to sit on a gun that is not my number 1 go to gun.

What about the Simmons Pro Hunter 50??  Any good?

Jeff, if you want a decent scope at a good price..and especially with Simmons, look around for a Whitetail Expedition or Atec. You can have one of these for around $100 and are very clear and crisp optics for the price.
The 44Mags and Prohunters are pretty good, but fail in comparison to the Whitetails and Atecs.
