I didn't think TC offered any of the WSSM chamberings in the Encore or Contender!  This was supposedly due to the fact that the WSSM's generated so much pressure!

This is one of the reasons the Encore should never be chambered for any of the short magnum cartridges.  Too much pressure at the breech face.  Short magnum cartridges are designed to work in short action bolt guns and offer no benefit to the Encore.  With equivalent barrel lengths the Encore will always be shorter than a bolt action.

Evening Shaleeto,

The left locking lug broke on my Encore .375 H&H mag.  Contacted T/C and they sent a complete locking setup (both lugs, spring, pin) right away...no questions asked.
