Bow season is fast approaching, and its time to start getting ready.  What's your preseason get ready routine?

There's Fishing and then there's Bass Fishing
Its kinda like the difference between Sandlot Baseball and Playing on the Team.
The difference is Practice

Come home from work, eat...Mow the lawn, drag out the backstop, shoot till dark.Come home from work, eat...Mow the lawn, drag out the backstop, shoot till dark.   Seriously though, I have been doing a lot of range estimation and accuracy drills, that keeps my shot count high and the shoulders in shape.  Gonna go to the 3d ranger here soon, too. :D

I have a permanent 60 yard range built, so it is just a matter of staying in practice and keeping from injuring myself while doing something else that will limit my use of a bow or worse when the hunting seasons open.

Practice shooting from in my popup ground blind at different distances and from different positions and from behind tree branches and such.

Also a lot of range estimation practice and verification with my range finder when walking around on scouting trips.

More of the same...practice, practice, practice!!!!!!!!

Lots of tuning and tweaking until my arrow flight is as perfect as I can get it.  I usually have to make up a dozen arrows every season too.

Also...checking other accessories.  Stands, ladders, any electronic gear, camo.
