Removing rear sight on Benji 392
« on: May 05, 2006, 06:28:32 PM »
Just got my new Benji 392, and for the most part, am pretty happy.  The only negatives I have are the rear stock and the forarm look like they came from two entirely different species of trees.  Also the rear sight seems to be mounted at a slight cant - not truly plumb with the barrel.  I guess quality control has been outsourced too.

Anyways, I got the Williams peep sight with the rifle as open sights haven't been kind to my eyes for a couple of years now.  I would like to remove the stock rear sight but am unsure how to do it and don't really want to go the "exploratory surgery" route and risk marring the rifle.  Can anyone tell me how to correctly accomplish this?  Also,  are there any sources for a schematic/parts diagram for this rifle - just so I know what to expect if I ever want to take it apart - I've been known to do that.

Thanks for any advice guys.
