:-D well it got here today i looks reel nice. 243 ultra 24" hb . i cleaned it reel good with break cleaner. and polish the bore with a product called simichrome. the bore is shiney as glass know. still wating on my scope and rings. so shooting aint gowing to happen for a couple of days. but the way i look at it i can do a trigger job on it whill i what i have down loaded the info off of perklos site so lets wish for the best. thanks for all the help. alot of info on this site

Congrats on your new .243   :D   I have a handi .243 with a standard barrel. Mine is very accurate and fun to shoot. The .243 is a great round. I never did a trigger job on mine....perhaps I may give it a go someday. Good luck to you  when you go to the range and please give us a range report.

:lol: and also i got lucky to get the ejecter. so i guess time well tell. cant do trigger job. i ant got the tools at home to make the slave pin. i dont go back to work tell after the fist of year...

A wood dowel will work for the slave pin, don't let that stop ya. I only use a 5/32" and 3/16" pin punch.

17 cal bullet of 3o gr. works as a slave pin....i used a bic inkpen tip once also ...jb

8) well the trigger job is done. know dont laugh i pulled the hammer out of my tdc and put it in my ultra. wen i fist got the tdc it was going to be used as a turkey gun only. so i did a trigger job on it but know i use it for rabbit. and the trigger is a littel light for that. so in the ultra it goes came out at 2 pounds and crisp. the tdc came in at just a littel over 3 pounds. good to go wen that brown truck shows up with the scope  ha ha

Congrats on the 243 CZbuff...I've never done it..but have heard of others doing this..With the way the forum has been lately I'm not surprised noone else has posted...I couldn't log on almost all day..
