445 On the range
« on: December 23, 2005, 07:04:27 PM »
First day on the range today. I first shot max loads of 210gr 44 mag. and it felt much better than my friends super redhawk.  Next was 240's on top of 30gr. of H-110, then 300's on top 27gr. of H-110.  I need practice, but this thing is great.  I actually liked the 300's better.  The 240's were pretty snappy and the 300's stuck it firmly in my palm.  It wasn't punishment, but, full house 357's felt like 38's afterward.  If I don't get good with the 445, it will certainly make me better with my 357.  I don't know if I could be happier.  Good investment.  I did it David. :D  :-D     and all that stuff.

I like to load the cylinder with three 44's and three 445's when I take people out shooting the 445 for the first time. I set the cylinder to shoot the 44's first then the 445's, they always a really surprised when the 445's go off.
