Hi folks,

I recently won a J. C. Higgins Model 101.540 side-by-side 12 gauge in a raffle at a local gun club. I think it might be a Stevens or Savage made gun, but haven't been able to find a cross-reference for this model anywhere.  :?   Can you shed some light on what I have?

 For what it`s worth. Your JC Higgins(model 101.540) is a house brand of SEARS. The original mfgr was FOX. Original models were: B..BST..BDL.
