Any one use Stoney Point Target knobs?
« on: January 03, 2006, 08:51:34 AM »
I have a leupold 6x18 vari-x II scope that I have mounted on a new coyote rifle.  where I hunt, it is common to take shots from 250 to 350 yards.  I would like to use the scope adjustments to compensate for bullet drop after geting the range on my targets with a laser rangefinder.  Has anyone tried the stoney Point target knobs for scope adjustments.  I would only need to move the adjusments 15 to 25 clicks at the most and the back to 0.

Here's a thread at RFC that I think will answer your question...particularly Brookie's reply on Leupold scopes...

Quote
Leupold and Burris will replace regular knobs with target knobs on some scopes for a fee.
