I'm new to this page and recently purchased a handi rifle in .44 magnum caliber. I was told that the handi rifle was once available in .444 marlin, is this true? Has anyone ever rechambered their .44 magnum to .444 marlin? If so, who did the rechambering work and how well does the gun perform?
I really like the .444 marlin cartridge, but unfortunately it seems there are no single shots available in this caliber. Any help you can give me would be great.
