Rem 7400 Sling Attachment???

Dumb question: how do you attach a sling swivel to the fore-stock of the 7600? It feels pretty flimsy!!
I am thinking of buying one but it must take a sling to be of any use to me.
Thanks

You will be better served with a barrel band installation.
Uncle Mike's set #1441.

Mike's also makes a special bolt/swivel combination that attaches to the end of the fore stock in place of the usual simple bolt.
My 750 came with it!!!

In the title line you asked about the 7400 but in the message you asked about the 7600. I answered for the 7600.
The semi-auto swivel assembly replaces the forend bolt.
For the slide action model, 7600, it is as I suggested.
