Winchester '92s...and clones: What's available?
« on: March 08, 2003, 04:58:18 PM »
I once had a Rossi '92SRC a few years ago when I first tried CASS, and foolishly let it go. Now that I'm 'into the game' again, I want something 'different'. So...let's hear it for the Winchester M92 and the various clones.....

RT,
You might want to take a look at these - http://www.legendaryguns.com/Win92LTD.htm. I've got a .45 on layaway til Mar 18. The Cadillac of '92's. EMF Rossi's are a good rifle too; no lawyer parts and pretty reasonable. Nate Kiowa Jones, '92 gunsmith extraordinaire does a great slick up job on them and can even get a brand new EMF '92, slick it up and send it to your FFL. I love the '92.

Yup I've got one of the EMF Hartford 92 clones and it is a nice rifle. For a less than serious competitor like me I'm thinking it might not even need any slicking up. Probably would for someone really serious about winning tho.

I have an EMF Hartford Carbine in .44 mAG.  It is well finished and slick right out of the box.
