i just got a 2200mag and what is a good pellet for this gun and how far can i shoot to kill with it?

I think your getting 595 fps with a 22 cal pellet. That is going to have some punch. If you use the dome pellets your penetration will be good and you will get the most speed down range . I'd say your good out to 35 yards or so. It all depends how well your shot placement is. Don't be afraid to try different weight pellets, brands and shapes. In my gun Benjamin/Sheridan diabolo "dome pellets" in 14.3 grains out shoots most other pellets. That pellet will shoot 5 inches higher than a wadcutter in copperhead same weight. See what your gun likes. Good luck and let us know how it works out. I have a feeling Come hunting season the bunnies will be in big trouble.
