The Remington is most often a DIY project but if I do one it's usually in the $20-25 range. the MkII Ruger is a different story. and they range from $55-80. Also I only do them with the provision that if there is a problem I will install and adjustable trigger.. Some of the MkII's are soooo sloppy that a really good trigger job is cost prohibitive.. Be sure and safety check the rifle's when they come back to be sure the smith didn't create a dangerous situation. As a final check put them in a deep freezer for a few hours and repeat the standard tests. The extreme cold can accentuate an inadequate sear engagement if it exists and save you problems on the next cold weather deer hunt..
