how large is the "kill zone" on a 'yote?  I wanna know how to sight in my 25-06 for the maximum "point blank" range

also,will the hornady 117gr. SST's be o.k. for this use?

broad side about 7 to 8 inches on a medium size coyote... and those bullets will smoke any coyote you touch!! good luck.

let me know what kinda load you work up and what kinda groups you get with them. ive got a new 25-06 barrel for my encore i need to start working with.

Heck,I don't reload,but Mr. Hornady worked up a "custom" load for me   :wink:  and they shoot half inch groups at 100 yds :grin:

plenty good for yotes. youll be suprised how many youll get in close-- i mean real close depending on your setup. i shoot more yotes with my scatter gun than any of my rifles... even taken a few with my bow and pellet gun.
