Those prices could be worse, a trapper can make a few bucks at those prices!  Finally those muskrats are inching back up again.  :-) Ace

For the record....this was the Michigan trappers Association Sale, last weekend, in Ravenna Michigan. Good stuff!  Averages on coons were as expected, but most everything else was pretty decent. I figured the canine market was going to be inthe dumper with the pre-season forecast, but aparently there's still a market.

Yeah the prices seem to be better in Michigan, last weekend a friend and I took our weeks catch into the fur dealer that about an hour away and we sold the following things at the following prices.

1 Coon           $3.00
4 Coon           $4.00
3 Coon           $6.00
1 Coon           $9.00
2 Muskrats      $3.00

As far as I know these are the highs on all the species you named here in Northern Missouri: (To the best of my knowledge)
