handi durability
« on: January 13, 2006, 04:25:35 AM »
hello;

have two handis now, 223 rem. and 243 win., looking to buy a third.  several post have dealt with the lock-up of handis.  folks have sent their rifles back to the factory or "shiming" the barrel to make things fit.

just how durable is the handi?  my 223 is @ six weeks old and i have fired several hundred rounds in the rifle.  we are about to start shooting both rifles with several different powders and bullets to determine what is best for each rifle.  this testing could involve several hundred rounds fired.

i had "assumed", yes we know how to spell ass-u-me, these rifles are good for thousands of rounds fired before any problems.  please provide some input about handi durability.  thanks.
