I'm in the SW portion of the state and all available down here is 1/5 (pistol targets) and std size NRA at reduced distance. Two ranges with as many as four matchs on certain Sundays of the months, (ranges are 5-6miles apart). Easier targets seem to attract more of all ages. Rifle restrictions? forget em, come shoot and have fun. Tulsa,OK was shooting SB, Old Fort Gun Club down Ark. has really nice SB range, and last but certainly not least the Benton Club down Little Rock, Ark is always worth a drive down.
As for MO shooters, between St Louis and KC there resides tons of knowledge and many years experience in these games. Seek em out, and if you want to save yourself years of frustration, LISTEN to them!!
