Well i have an oppurtunity to go to Africa in September for a cape buffalo.
Now my question is this: I am looking to purchase one handgun for hunting here in the States from Whitetail to Brown Bear and for when i go home to africa for warthog all the way to buffalo and possibly one day elephant. So if this was you what handgun would you buy that would be lethal for any of these afore mentioned game animals.
I kinda like the S&W 460 as i can load it with 45 LC for whitetail or 454 or even the 460 for cap buffalo. Would the 460 be enough gun for the buffalo or would the 500 be more to my advantage.
Basically i am looking for the best around handgun, sure it might be overkill for some game but i dont want to be "undergunned" for others
If you were in my shoes which would you get?
