try this  http://www.spiritbows.com/byoarchery.html

I picked up an old sewing machine motor and a hunk of tubing pretty cheap and it works like a charm.

hope this helps!
Thanks!
Bob

I made one from a electric mixer that I got at walmart for $8 and 3 eye hooks ansd a rubber band. I mounted the mixer on 3 ft 2 x 4 with 2 one foot pieces of 2  x 4 board. I cut one of the mixer beater off and as the cut off beater turns I have a rubber band from the beater to the arrow shaft that is inserted thru the eye hooks. I can also change the speed based on the mixed speed. I also got the paint brushes at walmart from the craft area and the paint from the paint area. I also dip my shafts in poly, two times and then give the arrows a full 10 inch white crown of a qt size of white poly paint I picked up at the dollar store.  I use fletching tape  to mount the feather to the shaft. I can do a 1/2 doz in a hour, while looking at the tv. I made my dip tunes from old soda bottles and golf black tubes...
