I don't have a 223 in a Rossi, but search a few past threads and you will find that, just like the Handis, they seem to shoot the 45gr Winchester White Box pretty well.

with the standard barrel being a 1 in 12 twist rate i would say the lighter bullets will perform better. but like all things u should test and see what works best for u and your rifle. enjoy the 223, im thinking of getting the bull barrel in 223 soon.

My 223 Bull Barrel likes the Winchester White box from wally world, 1/2" groups.
