Gregg22,WELCOME TO GBO   :D ....congrats on the new rifle.....glad it shoots for ya...read the sticky's and your groups will probably close up even tighter......(probably not from just READING the sticky's,but from doing some of the things you'll read about  :-D  :-D )
Good shot placement + well constructed bullet = DEAD

I just purchased a used, but mint 243 Ultra Varmitl. Sweet shooting little rifle, definately tempermental with what its' fed. 58gr v-max and 44gr Varget are consistantly under an inch. First group I tried with 75gr Hornady HPs were over 2" didn't tighten up until I reached max loads. I purchased mine as a "cheap" coyote gun as well, think you will be as happy with yours just as much as I am with mine.

I don’t know how happy you guys will be if you want to save pelts I just started using my 243 on yotes and it just about blows them in half but boy they sure are dead right there . Its not a bang flop it’s a bang double  back flip flop

55 grain ct going somwhere around 4000 FPS says the book(no chronograph) and no they are not blown in half but there isn't much to keep.

oh should have mentioned i am using 58 gr Vmax going about 3300 fps.I am not planing on keeping hides just thinning out the yotes,I saw 4 of them on different mornings while deer hunting this year.I was not calling them or anything like that.
