Most of the time I use the RCBS 10-10 scale. I've had it forever and have had absolutely no problems. If I am sorting brass or things of that nature, I use the RCBS electronic scale as it is faster for that.
For dies, if I want precision work, I buy Redding. That being said, I also have RCBS dies and Lee dies.
I use Redding for Varmint rifles, RCBS for Hunting Rifles and small runs of experimental handgun loads and Lee for large volume handgun loads (hunting and plinking) in a turret press.
I haven't used the Boss press so I can't comment on that one, but all that I have purchased from Redding was top notch equipment and I have no reason to believe this would be any different. By the way, it looks a lot like an RCBS Rockchucker press, which I have also had forever.
I think you have bought very good equipment and are off to a good start. Now get a couple of loading manuals from different manufacturers. If you're going to shoot Jacketed, get a manual from the manufacturer of the jacketed bullets you are going to use and perhaps another from a powder manufacturer (like Hodgdon). Get at least two and perhaps more...you can never have enough of these manuals and they have sections on how-to that will tell you most of the things you need to know to get started.
