I'm the proud owner of that knife, until I give it away to a friend soon.  It's the second I had Scherm make for me as gifts to give to buds.  He does truly nice work.  Figure I need to get one to call my own before he gets "famous" and expensive.

Scherm, it's a moose skinner :wink: .  Too few elk in Alaska to give it much work.

        Good to see another of your knives.  That one looks like it'll do a good job on any critter that needds done.  Nice shape to the handle and blade.

I just wanted to say that, although I do not make knives, I have always appreciated those that do, and all of you guys posting your pics do fine work.  I love the blending of form, function and beauty.  Keep up the good work.  Maybe some day I might give it a try.
