Dang it, you beat me. :)  I just came here to say the same thing, it's a rebadged BAR LongTrac. Winchester and Browning are corporate cousins IIRC. The reciever is different and it looks like it doesn't have the bolt release lever, but the trigger assembly and floorplate are identical. Looks like it's $100-$150 cheaper too. I knew they were owned by the make company, just wasn't sure who???  how long have they been dual owned?  Who owns Remington??   :D

I'm not sure, I think Win is looking for a buyer. Aparrently this is only rifle left that will be sold under the Winchester name.  :eek:

How long does Remington have with all the stupid decisions that they make?
