It seems that my most accurate loads (in 7x57, 30-06, and 375 H&H) are either compressed or very close to it. In my 7x57 and 375 I can actually hear (feel??) a little crunching of powder when bullet seating. Neither load is all the way max in the reloading manual but very close and there aren't obvious pressure signs. When are compressed loads dangerous in of themselves, if ever?
