Henry, we need more information, a Ruger Single-Six is a 22 rimfire.  The 44 Mag might be a Super Blackhawk, old or new model, or a Vaquero. (Might also be a Bisley).  Could even be a Flattop, which would be worth much more than the $450.  OLd Model SBH in fine shape might be worth $450.  New Model, used is a toss-up.  Including the belt and holster depends on the belt and holster.  Could be worth from $50 to $500 for the belt and holster, but I doubt anyone would offer it included if it was an expensive rig.  Try to find out more about the revolver.  Rugers suggested retail for a new SBH or Vaquero is about $500 depending on finish (blue or Stainless), Vaqueros a little higher than SBH.

I'm pretty sure its a blackhawk, the barrel looks like its about 7 and a half. so i dont think its a vaquero. Thanks ,    Henry

In my neighborhood new SA Rugers are selling from $389 to $450 depending on the grips, finish, etc. Unless he's throwing in some mighty fine leather I don't really think that's such a hot deal.

By the way, the Vaquero will have the fixed sights of the old style cowboy guns. The Blackhawks (and Super Blackhawks) will have modern adjustable sights.

A Bisley will have a longer grip that will accomodate all three fingers. The regular Blackhawk/Vaquero grips will be shorter. The hammer on the Bisley goes straight back instead of pointing up (because of the different hold due to the longer grip), and the trigger will be more curved. A lot of folks who start out with double action revolvers like the longer Bisley grip because it more like what they're used to. You don't have to curl your little finger under the grip. The modern version (adj. sights) will have a 7.5 in. barrel. If it's a Vaquero the barrel length can be 4.25 or 5.5 in.

Remember, also if he throws in a leather belt and holster it could have cost anywhere from $75 for an inexpensive rig, to a more elaborate one $250-300. Just how good a friend is he . . . . .
