Why would a 45 Colt Octagon barrel need a choke?

I was looking at a 45 Colt Barrel on E-steal and it listed this barrel as a 45 Colt with a choke.

Being a new T\C owner, why would you need a choke for a 45 Colt? This wasn't the 45-410 barrel. So I was confused.

Any comments?
